Neal Cassady with Hammer and Cigarette
Neal Cassady tosses his hammer around and smokes a cigarette. He carried the hammer with him while he traveled with Ken Kesey's Merry Pranksters. Cassady is best known as the main character of Jack Kerouac's semi-autobiographical novels On The Road and Visions of Cody.
