What did you think of: Confessions of a Dangerous Mind?

I was a little weary to rent this movie at first, because a lot of people viewed it as boring. I thought it was the complete opposite. Sam Rockwell (who I think is AMAZING and should be recognized as one of the greatest actors of our generation) does an outstanding job as Chuck Barris. It's wonderfully shot and the commentary in-between scenes from regulars from The Gong Show were hilarious i.e the woman who called Chuck a "prick" and said that "he could never kill anyone" and that "even she could kick beat him up".

No thoughts on Confessions of a Dangerous Mind anyone?

Well, What did you think of: Sideways?

fashionicon, this is a great idea. :woot:

unfortunately i have seen neither confessions of a dangerous mind nor sideways.

if i may.. i'd like to know what you thought of the night of the hunter by charles laughton. i understand you either love or hate it. the friend i watched it with, i think, did not really like it. i did, apart from a few flaws. lately i found out i'm somehow drawn to films that take the perspective of children and get a both magical and eerie atmosphere through this. i'm thinking of films like reflecting skin, fanny och alexander and i saw night of the hunter the same way.
