The collections in Milan had us on a pleasure cruise, slipping in to one chic port after another while making mental note of everything we'll be picking up for spring. Although there was much to admire, here's a short list of the standouts:

Brian Atwood: Three vixen German contortionists in bikinis were supposedly modeling shoes, but no one could take their eyes off their legs touching the backs of their heads.
Missoni: Images of the family history plus the unveiling of a three-story scaffolding bursting with Missoni's factory workers in white lab coats brought tears to everyone's eyes.![]()
