The Blush thread, all you need to know...

I got L'oréal blush délicieux 04 bois de rose-rosewood.
You need to wear a lot to make people notice but I remember it was quite cheap,12 euros or something like that.

Sorry for the huge pic (from ARTDivision in Natalia thread)

Can anyone reccomend a good, sturdy blush that resembles the one Natalia's wearing? Benetint seemed a little too watery for me and Stila was too light. :flower:

VainJane, I love that pink blush on the girl....
I wonder if that pink with pearl will look good with black/brown hair, brown eyes with plae transculent skin.... how about tarte dollface gel blush?

^ Thanks guys! :flower:

I found a gorgeous pink blush from NARS, Angelika I think it's called. So pretty!

i just discovered this cheap brands take on benetint. it is by me me me cosmetics, which sells in superdrug in the uk. it's fantastic, better than the real benetint! stays on for ages and looks really natural and soft like natalia's makeup in that pic.

don't move!

I'm having trouble finding a blusher that does not move. Usually what I do is I wear a primer and apply a creme blusher and then a powder version on top in the same hue for blusher longevity. I always come across this as a makeup tip in magazines, but it doesn't work for me.

It's so frustrating that I look hot in the morning and then within a few hours it has melted away.
Does anyone know of a particular blusher ( preferably creme ) that does not budge even after laying out in the sun or working out at the gym?

Hey, does anybody know of a blush that gives that wel look effect? I dont know how exactly is called, mirror effect?? Basically what im looking for is a blush who makes ur face lustre. OK, not sure if anyone will undertsand...

For a wet look you can apply a cream blush and top it woth a bit of an highlighter.

1Karina1: Try Guelain Bubble blush, it´s like a mousse but it´s very long lasting.
Gel blushes also tend to be very sticky to the skin, so they won´t budge like powders or creams.

Do you think that the glossy touch by YSL will look good over the cream blush? Im thinking of getting it just to achieve the look.

You can try that, but some try some vaseline, it will do the same i reccon.
Just tap it and don´t rub, otherwise it will smudge whatever there´s beneath the product you apply first.

(I´ve only tried glossy touch in my hand, and sometimes that kind of products work just aswell as some vaseline or some clear lipgloss)

squeeze your hand real tight. unclench your fist and your fingertips will be redder. pick a blush that is either warmer or cooler based on your fingertip color, and the result will be more natural. (:

Wow, thanks for the tip. :D :flower:

Tarte Dollface is so sheer it doesn't even show up on my face, and my skin is pretty fair. Also, I am not a fan of the dewy/sticky feeling. I use L'Oreal Blush Delice in Raspberry. You only need a small amount and it makes my cheeks pinky.

Shimmerbricks from Bobbi Brown! Very subtle, and lasts a very long time.

I meant wet look!!

There's a fine line between "greasy/oily" and the "wet" look. Only put highlighting shimmer powder or cream on cheekbones and where light would hit most; although avoid putting too much on the forehead.
