^
I think they merged there companies on the basis that Body Shop would continue with the same ethics. .

I recently bought a C-vitamine face spray :) Has anyone tried it?

I have that. :flower: BUT, even though it feels good going on, I never really notice a difference after five seconds of spraying it on.

The Body Shop was sold with big money to L'oreal and though they are still not testing with animals, when you buy their products it's sure thing that the money goes to L'oreal which is making big money by selling their animal-tested products..and markets TBS to "thinking and cruelty free" audience

Though I'm optimistic, maybe good things come out of this..

(Sorry bout my english, I think I'm not making myself clear.)

Has anybody tried the Africa Spa Rich Body Balm? Is it any good ... better than the body butters?

Oooh I have it's ok, it's slightly thicker but I wouldn't buy it again, I prefer the regular body butters. I wanna try the hand and foot honey butter stuff though, that's sounds yummy.

Body Shop! My favourite store!! I love, ofcourse, the body butters (Grapeseed and olive are my favourite) but I also love they Banana Shampoo + Conditioners, the vitamin C and/or E Face spritz (when i srpray it it instantly makes my makeup look refreshed after i've had it on for a couple hours) and the aromatherapy frangrances are wonderful.

I could go on for hours over all the other great products but those are my must have's!

My favourite Body Shop products have to be in the tea tree oil range: the face wash, the moisturising gel and the non-powdered facial wipes. They have helped so much in reducing all of my spots and lowering the amount of oil I have on my face. :)

Vanilla shower gel and body lotion smell gorgeous. People always ask me what perfume I'm wearing, but it's just the smell of those 2 products!

Body Butters

My friend got me the Sweet Almond Oil Body Butter for my birthday and I absolutely love it! At first, I went online to check the price for it because I thought it was a cheap gift!

I love going into the body shop because it always smell sooooo good! Surprisnigly I haven't really used their products, not even they're ever famous body butters. I received a sample of their body better so if it really works that well i think i'll buy it:D There are 2 new scents right now..Vanilla and Golden Apple. I  the apple scent one!

Oh man I just read the first post of this thread, about the vitamin C spray and suddenly this shock wave hit me....I had 3/4 bottle of vitamin C spray back in my old apartment and I haven't seen it for AGES! I wonder where it went..i've moved twice since then so maybe it got chucked or something...

I´m thinking of buying these products. Any opinion? Has someone tried them?

I use The Body Shop's concealer, it matches my skintone and covers red spots well. The blush sticks are really good, too. They used to have one in a red tone, but I think it's gone out of production :(

i adore the body shop.....but I miss some of the old products...ice blue shampoo was great....and there was a great facial wash i used to use that they don't do now.

Too many additives etc for me thankyou. I dont need my lotions and potions to smell like nuts and mangoes and bubblegum... I need pure ingredients. I am an organic pharmacy girl though I wish someone would have that kind of integrity at a more affordable price.

yes, iv been using this for three years straight, i find it thicker than the usual body butters, but gets absorbed in the skin faster, and the smell is just..divine!
i'm a total body shop junkie, from oil burners perfumes to shower gloves, they all are a must for me, the prices are just insanly great for the quality of the products, sometimes i get stuff just bcz they'r too cheap
my favs so far are: vitamen C skin boost serum(im on my sec bottle now), the africa spa body blam, almond\coconut\mango scrub, vanilla spice shower gel(the smell lasts more than any shower gel iv used), home fragrance oils in(almond, green tea, vanilla, vanilla spice, steamed milk, baked cookies, fireplacce, exotic, lavender.. lol looks like i have'em all^_^ ) the cocoa butter lip balm, shower gloves, the tall handed shower brush and almond hand cream ...
there might be some more stuff i cant think of right now so i may be back ^_^
