^^ That does not look safe  unless its gone under rigorous testing, i would not have an implant in my eye unless for medical reasons.

Eww. The whole process sounds gross. Plus, the blue eyes don't really look too nice. Too pale and somehow unicolor, which is quite unusual for the iris, isn't it.

^ yea the colors are so obviously fake.

I found out after research that newcoloriris caused blindness to a number of patients . apparently the whole thing is a scam.
the same black guy in the ad had recently posted a video on youtube complaining about the problems this surgery caused to his eyes.

What do you guys think? Its funny my eyes sort of get a lighter shade of blue towards the pupil!
I'm not sure if you have to source on the this thread but: Me! :flower:

mmBop, you have gorgeous eyes! Beautiful shades of brown and green :)

Oh and about that iris surgery??? I'm sorry but if you are stupid enough to undergo it, you're pretty much asking for problems. Gives me the chills just knowing that people do it.

My eyes are dark brown; but sometimes they look an amber-ish colour, especially if I am standing next to someone with darker eyes (say in a photo). Does that make sense?

Im wondering, do eyes become lighter as you age? My grandmother had dark brown eyes but they are looking very amber brown now, especially around the pupil.

Mine are hazel too, and it's very frustrating! Most people just say they're brown, but when they look at them, they're like 'wait...' Mostly my eyes are this copper/honey/golden color but then sometimes they're green. They're having an identity crisis I guess...

Yes they certainly do! My grandpa used to have brown eyes. Now they're grey-blue. Go figure. :D

^ I think maybe it's only certain people  My grandmother's were very dark brown, and I don't remember any fading.

Mine are golden brown in the center, with a deep brown ring.

My dad and grandfather had the same eye color as me, dark grey with brown close to the pupil, but as they got older their eyes got lighter, the grey part turned very light blue grey, and the brown part not only got lighter (light brown/amber) but it also got "smaller" and their eyes were almost completely light blue grey with very little light brown/amber.
My dad told me his grandmother was the same. Me, my dad, grandfather and great grandmother are the only ones in the family not to have blue or green eyes and their's changed, I'll be waiting for mine to change too.

Yes, mine were much browner as a child. They're definitely greener/bluer some 20/25 years later.

I really never knew about this eye fading/color change thing  Maybe a leetle loss of pigmentation or something ... I guess it doesn't happen in my family ...

^Yes in some cases, like when eye color fades during old age, it's regarded as some sort of pigment damage or over-exposure to sunlight, but it can also just be a natural change in pigment production as the body matures.

In my case I was born with blue eyes and now they're hazel. My brother used to have green eyes and now they're definitely blue.
Yeah, eyes are just an incredible part of our bodies :).
