Here we can speak about the prices from the fashion industry.

From my sources (85% sure), an ad in the first pages of US Vogue worth over $ 150.000 per page (for 2008 - 2010).

^I think the title is a little confusing, at first I thought it referred to pieces of clothing. So are you referring to advertising revenue/prices ?

This can be found out pretty easy, if you visit the publishers websites, the press packs usually contain the pricing.

Here are two examples, LOVE & Tatler Magazine

Yes, prices for advertising, models, photographers, editors.

I didn't know that these prices are public. :innocent:

^Of course they're public, they need to be since how would new and interested advertisers know costs ?

Well if you're wondering about Salaries... Emmanuelle Alt's salary is reported to be $300,000 a year and Anna Wintour's salary is reported to be $2million (I heard she also gets a reported $200,000 on top of that for clothing and hair & make-up), I think this is reflected mainly on circulation figures, there are of course other perks to their positions so their salary is only part of the deal.

What about if clients want the same page? The one who gives more money stays with it?

In terms of negotiation, the rate card is just the starting point.

Advertising sales is a rather essential element of magazine creation yet it's not really deemed glamorous enough to get much coverage, in comparison to the editorial side of things.
