I bought it today…honestly they should not call this fashion issues…its regular issues rely on the cover subject. The rest of the contents are meh. Instead of 5 condense everything in 3 and make the product stronger bc its kinda weak as a whole. The other editorial is a joke.

The simplicity of this is really beautiful. Like Goya's etchings and even Roversi's or Man Ray's imagery, something exquisitely unsettling and charming. Also been a while where someone has really executed garment as form in an editorial so well (personally speaking).

And I'll bite my tongue after running my mouth about Jacob K over at Benetton because the styling works really well here. Touché.

^ Yes, that collab makes no sense at all! Jacob is not that great these days but sometimes still does good work.

I just love Robin Galiegue's work though, it's referential but not reliant on xeroxing every element of who he's paying tribute to. I'm not a Linda fan at all but she reminds us here that her power as a force in front of the camera is incomparable. Also good to see her in a proper editorial, the WSJ one was a bit random and underwhelming coming from Meisel and Templer.

Can we not merge this with the original thread please, as requested by Xone? Everything should be kept in one place.

Another cover/cover story of D la Repubblica which puts Vogue to absolute shame. What a flawless fashion shoot, and it's just an added bonus that it's with someone as remarkable as Linda Evangelista. What a treat, what an absolute feast for the eyes. Heavenly... from start to finish!
