The Eyebrow Thread, all you need to know and ask about your arches

Sorry to go off topic from above but i was wandering if anyone knows how long a person should leave plucking their eyebrows after they've been waxed or maybe if its just best to get them waxed again some weeks later?

Im hopeing to remove all the unwanted hair from my eyebrows perminantely anyone got any ideas?

If you live in Los Angeles, California... go to Damone Roberts. They charge $30 and that's really a reasonable price. Once I went in for my first appointment, I can never NOT go back again the next month. It's very addicting!

Ok so I just went to MAC a few days ago and I bought a waxy pencil in Spiked which is drk brwn and a red brow set, which is a liquid drk red color that is like brow wax that you put on with a huge mascara wand. The lady told me this brow makeup is totally in right now. Eyebrows are naturally powdery and I need to stay away from eyebrow powders because it will look unnatural and overdone. If you lightly brush the pencil just below your brows and then fill in with a brow set it will look really good. I'll post pictures of how this works later.

My eyebrows are immaculately groomed all the time, but when I see pictures of Natalia I want to grow them out more than anything. Anyone else get the urge to look like you don't try?

i know i got nice eyebrows.

i dont like to tweeze or wax. i prefer to have someone thread mine. but the salon i go to that does threading is gone! :( now i need to find a new one...who knows of any in new york city of manhattan...

Ahh! Finally! I guess that's how her brows look naturally... In some of the L'Oreal ads you can tell someone's messed about with them, either with tweezers or the computer.. I don't think it looks as good. Neater, yes, but those brows are the reason she's so standout, in my opinion. I guess letting them grow as they normally would is the key, although I'd sure in between them needs a small bit of work.

What I'd like to know is whether or not this works for everyone. I'm sure some people just look sloppy---but baby does it work on this girl:

I do think it works for everyone... i think there's nothing worse than too thin eyebrowz or painted. A few eyebrowz that were posted here are truly terrible ;/

yea i think a rounder arch is a softer touch for the face. unless you want that blank stone face look that models have. i dont know how u describe it. but their expressions are weird when they walk down the runway. and models' eyebrows are really highly arched up sometimes even pointy!

go to a threading place and they can reshape ur brows the natural way...cuz sometimes too much wax touch your eyebrows and they might take out more hair than they intended.
