The Fiercest Runway Moments

I just did that
But I really liked many of the models they chose for Anna Sui. There were so many good runway moments

Although it doesn't really count as a runway moment but Gisele opening the 2005 Victoria's Secret show with the "Sexy Santa Helpers" segment which also included Karolina, Ale, Ana BB, Raquel, Bianca Balti and Doutzen .

Along a similar line, would be Natasha at VS 2006: opening segment.

On the back of Adrianna A & Karolina hamming it up a bit with the sideshow that was Timberlake [and i accept that's a part of the VS Show ie. bi-play between model & live act], Natasha immediatedly restored order & fierceness to the segment, as layed out by Giselle when opening.

I really dug that nonchalant sidewise glance at the patrons, before she hit her pose. Probably the best walk of that particular segement.

I definitely think that it counts, that whole segment was all kinds of awesome.

• Gisele's end-of-the-runway pose (the looking down drives me nuts, but Gisele can work an end-of-the-runway pose. I also think that she gives great backstage commentary);
• Karolina's head toss / wind in the hair;
• Ale's hooded Santa elf cuteness;
• Raquel's runway hip check;
• Izabel's over-the-shoulder pose and backstage booty shake.

Naomi's opening of the Glamazons segment at the 2003 VSFS is beyond awesome (@4:25), really start the video @ 4:15, , and all at the same time at being responsible for handling Naomi's weave.




P.S. At first I did not want to respond to this post during the middle of a RTW runway season but it ain't like we are being treated for any fierce runway moments at this time, so what the heck.

P.S. Actually MCB wasn't able to completely suppress her swagger either, but I guess Miuccia just averts her eyes when her fellow Italiana is on the runway.

Apologies, mistaken identity re: first name basis.

Of course, Adriana didn't hit the runway until segment two. BTW it was the last VS show i enjoyed. The balance between catwalk & commercial event was set just about right. It's gradually gone downhill since, the catwalk element has been stripped back markedly. The live show [and i accept that the advertising dollars must be appeased] has very much engulfed what was formerly a finely struck balance.

That Candice/Chanel thing.. To me! It looked like Chanel's regular walk.. I guess maybe Candice got or felt threatened.. And Chanel looks a little better in this seasons times.. So yeah..

I remember I was crazy when I saw that show! Everything was perfect..the musics, the clothes (one of the best Donatella's collection imo and one of the most sold in the last years) and the GIRLS..oh my god the girls..Stam, Gemma, Tiuu, Natasha, Daria, Isabeli (atomic), Julia, Hana, Lily D, Anja (in her shining period==her face was so beautiful), Karen, Carmen, Caroline Winberg & Trentini, Doutzen, Eugenia, Heather etc all together!!! This would be an HIGH FASHION SHOW, an event with girls full of personality, everyone with their "light" and not a march of dull clones!

Can't agree more. This show really summarizes modeling for me.
Strong and unique girls!! Not the same and boring faces, where we can't hardly knows who is who.
