I guess, the trend started back in the 90's. When Gianni Versace only uses the supermodels in his show.

Fashion in general is moving towards a much younger image. That's why houses prefer younger models these days. Burberry is the prime example of this. Versace also. Donatella will mainly only use Natasha and Isabeli as in her shows as older girls. Not even Raquel or Caroline anymore. I kinda hate it, especially since Gianni's empire used to be the pinnacle of supermodel-dom, but that's the way fashion has become unfortunately.

Yeah, Versace was so great, and THE show to be in, nowadays somehow Suvi Koponen gets an exclusive there?...idk, what's going on with Donnatella's head, she's the only one that had realistic clothes, and the models at their best.
