The Fiercest Runway Moments

I was thinking, what were my first encounters with 'fierceness' on a runway. I listed one (Dior SS 04 RTW Mariacarla and several more) but another includes Long forgotten model Kat Bespyatikh at Dior couture F/W 0304 when she opened her kimono exactly to the beats of the music, starting at 3:50 in this vid (of course the whole show was fierce and amazing, but this moment, dang...I can't count the times I paraded in front of my bathroommirror with a big beachtowel around my shoulders all those years ago  )

And Raquel Zimmermann jumping over a huge dress and then posing the hell out of her as& at Galliano FW 0405, back when she still had a fierce walk (what happened there  ) You can slightly see the jump here at 1:33 in the back and the pose follows soon. Also in this show, Ekaterina Hlebanova (long forgotten as well :( ) planting her foot on her trolley, oh dear I thought I was gonna pass out when I first saw that video. Starting at 4:32

Again, this whole show was flaming

Vlada at 9:46

I had a heart attack when she posed against the wall of the stairs. Simply divine.

At 0:22 & 1:14 :woot:

Her pose with her hand against the wall...no one else could even compare to that pose.

^ agree :buzz: that was a divine moment. and imo Vlada always personifies elegance on the runway

Vlada tries too hard to be fierce and then fails mosly IMO....taka a look at Magdalena here at 5:29...she nails it. She gets what it means to present couture and wows everyone with elegance and poise. Same with Thana Kuhnen later on at 9:00. She's the epitome of couture

You could not have said it any better ! Vlada is imitating I think, but Magdalena embodies couture . The way she moves her arms and hands ... so graceful !!!! Her smallest finger even has elegance and poise . So perfect !

You gotta adore the way Karlie pranced out opening this Dior show. Every time is see her on the runway I can't believe how young she still is. She knows so well how to play different roles. She's come so far from her infamous Zombie walk...

Oh yes, that's true.
Percect for Couture, her movements are flawless, and the whole attitude she brings with is WOW :woot:
And I have to agree with Magdalena, at her it doesn't look contrived ,she embodies It I think the best! And when she reches out her hand to the guy, oh I love that

Tanya D. @ Dolce Gabbana Fall 2007. very hard to top, and hard to believe that she was just like 15yo this time. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fy8o27G3Qo8

I really cannot believe it. I've watched that clip many times and it's hard to believe she's only 16 there. I think she was the only model (besides Gisele of course) that looked like a supermodel at that show. She possessed this fierceness at such a young age. Something that Karlie, Monika & Frida do not.

Gisele tripped through the whole freakin' show. There were 17-year olds that put her to shame! Only Lara was more painful to watch. :p The runway was deadly, then the shoes, it really made you see who was a good walker and who wasn't.

Are we talking about the same show? Because Gisele was one of the worst walkers there....

^ I had never watched that full show before. Tanya was . I also noticed Natasha, Chanel, and Katia's walks...... talk about effortless!

i just watched the clip and hell yes, Tanya's walk was quite incredible
in that show. she commanded the runway in a different level, her presence
was just stronger. i do like Jac's walk but still they would find Tanya's hard
to replicate. Karlie's walk.. i find it too forced imo :yuk:

I said that she and Tanya looked like supermodels there. I never said her walk was good at that show.

^Really? I thought all the girls looked pretty similar, they all had the same hair and makeup and the only things other than their walks that were obviously differentiating would be the clothes and that they have different faces. So you thought that Gisele's face being as it is and the clothes she got to wear made her look like a supermodel over all the other girls excluding Tanya?

I am a big Karlie fan when it comes to print, but on the runway... those crazy eyes, I dunno...

Anna Ilnytska (1:25) stealthily walking like a lion, love it. It's more of "understated ferocity".

Chanel Iman looked ridiculous at Dior Couture; she always has to go five times bigger than everyone else.
