The Films of Quentin Tarantino

Pulp Fiction and reservoir dogs. Please, don't make me choose.

Hey- just realized it- Natural Born Killers was made by Oliver Stone!
Yes, directed by Stone, but the story was by Tarantino. But he didn't like the movie:
"Why did you have disagreement? Because of differences in styles or life experiences?

QT: I think style difference is not the key. He not only stole my NATURAL BORN KILLER script, but also ruined everything. That is not the original story I wrote and the movie was also made to a f**king piece of crap. I have never seen NATURAL BORN KILLER.

Never seen it?

QT: Never.

If you were making NATURAL BORN KILLER, how are you going to do?

QT: Definitely will be different, no matter in the content or style. That sitcom looklike opening scene, the male and female leads only know chopping people off … the Indian … Ridiculous!

The Chinese folk music.

QT: Right, the background music of the Indian scene is a Chinese folk music.

Nonsense!"
:innocent:

Isn't Tarantino something else?

i'm supposed to be a film-ster but i haven't seen any :ninja: hmmm, maybe i should hav a QT film festival at my place this long w/e!!!

Kill Bill I. But then, I haven't seen part II yet.

PF didn't capture me, not sure why

I really like Kill Bill both vol.s but the first one is a little bit better....

Pulp Fiction/Reservoir Dogs (Oh how I loved Mr. Blonde).

1) Jackie Brown    (weird nobody mentionned it)
2) Pulp Fiction :woot: :woot: :woot:
3) Kill Bill vol 1 (haven't seen vol 2 yet)

Pulp Fiction is my favorite movie- EVER. "And I shall strike down upon thee..." I haven't seen either of the Kill Bill movies...must plan to do so!

Violent, puerile, overly-ironic, self-referential/referential trash...IMO :ninja: :innocent:

And I'll not get started on the man himself...
My thoughts exactly!

Not only is Kill Bill 1&2 (since it was only to be one movie) my favorite QT film...it's my favorite movie of all time. I loved the last part:

"The lioness is reunited with her cub and all is right in the jungle"

I like Pulp Fiction..but not enough to add it to my own DVD collection.
I have never seen True Romance or Jackie Brown- so I guess I need to rent those asap.

Kill Bill 1&2 are so oddly calm... maybe that's why I love them. Who else got a kick out of Kiddo taking Elle's eye out and swishing it between her toes?

I've nevr seen Pulp Fiction. What is it about?

Very simply, its a tale about a group of gangsters and a boxer, but the film isnt that simple.
