The First Fashion Show You Watched

I remember watching fashion shows with my parents when I was young, but the first one that stuck out in my head was Versace S/S 2001. That green greek key runway design was beautiful to me.

But defining moment has to be split between Dior HC S/S 2004 and HC F/W 2003. I cannot recall too many things that hit me so hard, but those shows did. The clothes, the music, the makeup ... it was excessive and I loved it ! There was something very emotional about them both in different ways. Amazing.

I first got into fashion because of my brother bringing home copies of I-D magazine in around 2007/2008 when I was in 12/13 and I remember myself thinking how bizarre the magazine was! I remember the Fall 2009 fashion season as being the first season that I looked properly at, mainly through Tim Blanks little backstage videos he still does for style.com.

But like many, it was one of John Galliano's show for Dior, it was Fall 2010 that had a equestrian theme to it, that show that blew me away! The set, the clothes, the make up, hair, music, the strong pace of the models was so enticing and extremely exciting, I have very fond memories of that show when I look back on it now, it made a big impression on me.
