Which is more popular, the 30 or 35 Birkin? I don't know which I prefer, or which would look best proportioned with my body. Any comparison pics would be so very much appreciated.

laboheme -- Did you use the Vibrato Birkin a lot this past fall and winter? Are you thinking of a dark blue or green HAC? I think to trade it for a dark color HAC would probably serve the same purpose for you with your wardrobe so if it's what you'd prefer to have, then go for it!

Yes my current dream (it shifts) is a Thalassa HAC (I don't think I've seen one yet, even in the vast collections of TPF??)...but Vert Fonce, Clair etc. would work.

re: the vibrato...Well I bought it last Nov. and I've only used it a few times(3-5?) (I was still up to my eyeballs in other bags at the time ~ the herd has been thinned).

My attachment to it is mostly for the unusual look and brushed hw. Also, I'm completely haunted by the smell of the bag (Yes, I'm doubting my sanity). ...Long story, but fragrance reminds me of my childhood. Speaking of childhood/children ~ I was skittish about use because of my kids.

I swear to god this woman at college had a beige ostrich skin Birkin!
I nearly died! I had to do a double take - someone in my world with a Birkin.
It was open and you couldn't see the three pointed parts of the top, but you could see the metal details of the lock and where the three parts fit.
It didn't really look like it had been cared for very well as the leather looked sort of stiff and papery.
Nethertheless, I was shocked.

Can anyone with a 40cm birkin please post a pic of them carrying it? I'm seriously thinking about one but I'm not sure if it'd look ridiculous on me... I'm about 5'6" and 115lbs. Would it be too big?

I'm going for the 40 for my next one, should be getting it soon. By next week I hope. Very exciting! It'll be my first 40. Those with a 40, the handles seem a bit shorter than my 35s, am I just imagining it?
