The Last Magazine S/S 2018 : Adwoa Aboah by Mario Sorrenti

That is precisely the problem I have with new star models... as soon as they get the recognition they stop modelling and unfortunately, that applies to Adwoa...
This is also the reason why I admired the supermodels from the 90s so much... they were even bigger stars but they were killing it throughout their prime...

She always looks bored to me.

Sims proved that under the right direction, she can look great. This wasn't it. Covers like these makes me question how she managed to get this far in her career.

Exactly. Nowadays, once they are famous they are lazy. Naomi, Christy, Nadja and so on are still killing it when they don't have to prove anything to anyone now.

Adwoa annoys me. I don't care about what she has to say, about her look, about her work so next this cover.

Can Adwoa stick to her activism and take the gears off with the modelling PLEASE?!?!

She's a terrible model. Gorgeous woman but just doesn't translate most of the time for me.

In these days of mediocrity—everything from designers, photographers, magazine covers and models, Adwoa is that face that still transcends it all. I adore her face. I’m glad not she’s not in model-mode and just relaxed. Not every model has to possess the characteristics of the Supers to be deserving of "model".

And what a gorgeous, classic, timeless, simple cover select-- free of any gimmicks. A woman photographed this way: naturally, relaxed, effortlessly regal and full of natural attitude… Just perfection.

There should be at least a tagline there...

^^^ LOL

She's magical. Like the one, the only Christy before her.

What a mediocre cover to celebrate their 10th anniversary!!
