The Last Movie You Saw?

Dallas Buyers Club - Didn't have any desire to see it, out of my own silly life long indifference to Matthew McConaughey as a thespian. But after such great praise from the people whose opinion i respect, i went to see it. And boy, what a touching, and beautiful real life story. Blown away by the very thing that kept me away, Matthew went beyond, and delivered a truly staggering performance, everyone was wonderful. And it reminded me to give certain things in life a second chance, and how grateful i am that movies like this are still being made. Everyone should take the time to watch it.

A.C.O.D - It was weird to see Amy Poehler as Adam Scott's stepmother especially because I watch an episode of Parks and Recreation right before.

The Outsiders, by Francis Ford Coppola.
And I rewatched About Time with boyfriend because he hadnt seen it and I wanted him to, he loved it!

The Wolf of Wall Street (2014)

Pros:
-good acting all around
-some funny moments

Cons:
-Excessive amount of cursing throughout the entire movie.
-Full female nudity multiple times. NOT NECESSARY.

The movie overall wasn't as good as I thought it was going to be. I was disappointed.

Saving Mr. Banks. I liked it, kind of bittersweet most of the times and very well acted by all.

HER - Only one word necessary to describe this movie, and its meant for movie as a whole (script, acting, direction.etc): MASTERPIECE!

Wolf of Wall Street-Great movie, may not be scorseses best but its definetly up there. If anything Leo gives one of the best performances, if not the best, perforamnce of his career.

Dogtooth (2009) - Hmm.. not gonna say it's a bad movie, it's definitely a weird (disturbing would be more accurate) one. Not sure if I can say I like it or hate it, but I don't want to watch it ever again.

Enough Said - so touching. I like Nicole Holofcener's work; it's very honest.
But watching this film made me sad, knowing James Gandolfini is no longer with us.

Saving Mr Banks - Enjoyed it, wouldn't say it matches up to some of the movies made last year though.
