Dawn of the planet of the apes. Honestly, I like the first one more. This one is really well directed but the (human) characters are really poor.

Dawn was ok, better than Rise, but you are right, the Tim Burton version is still the best. I expected a more star-studded cast.

Palo Alto, I liked it very much, better than the book.
A long way down. The opposite. Thought it was pretty bad, the characters weren't good. The book was much better.

regarding Palo Alto I can say I wasn't all content after seeing it (I felt like something lacks there but I liked Gia's style and Emma Roberts aaand Franco's chemistry), but after rewatching it, there was something that made me keep rewatching it like 3 or 4 times and I hoped the book is even better (haven't read it yet) and now that you jexxica say it's not as good as the movie, I'm kinda disappointed, because I hoped there are maybe some important moments that strangely didn't make it to the movie.

The Maid's Room - I didn't expect to like it that much, I didn't expect anything but it's one of those movies you think about, and I won't forget it.
