Just in case someone was also in love with Cate's wardrobe in the movie, there was an entire article about it on The Guardian yesterday. It's as good as it looks (all sweaters by Margaret Howell and all that.. unsure why the costume designer felt like adding a Rolex and a Birkin, so tacky and didn't even notice them, but the rest is ✨✨)
I think they make sense for the character as status symbols (not that it's warranted, but they are kind of the archetypical male/female "you've made it" pieces). Maybe Linda Tarr from Statan Island is more susceptible to all that than Lydia Tár. Come to think of it, in real life Lydia Tár would probably a spokesperson for Rolex, like Gustavo Dudamel.

.. wish she was real.
(and what had to be done to a lovely vintage dress to make THAT
) .
but poor Dasha. She wants to be so dainty and frail running around for help but just looks goofy as hell. Had a few good laughs with her use of "f*ggot" as well as the Anna cameo. Also great score!
