I found the perfect one at the H&M I went to when visiting Italy. It was relatively cheap, obviously faux but very durable and exactly how a more expensive one might look, and brown. It has the diagonal zipper too.
All of the ones I see here in the US are either past my budget or too cheap-looking.

I just love them!
I agree that they certainly aren't too innovative or "new" anymore but I couldn't care less. Actually I have a little collection of leather jackets - some vintage and very old ones, from my mum, but even one from H&M. The only thing I really can't stand is when they are too short and end above the hips
That's a bit too "cool-kid" for me.

Four years ago I found a leather jacket that I used to wear as a child (god bless the 90's) and I've worn it religiously since! It's dark brown, waist short, with "gold" detailing and it has a really worn feel to it (the lining makes it look like it's from the 60's or something )

I finally bought a leather jacket!! Its from alice + olivia and it has a slightly oversized collar,but the best thing about it is the inside because its hot pink and quilted!

i really want a leather blazer, but ive yet to find one thats the right mix of smart and casual & thats easy to wear with smart shoes and trousers, as it is with jeans and sneakers.

got one at h&m ... obviously some fake.
got ruined very quickly ! barely wore it ...
don't buy there for a leather jkt ! NEVER ! whatever yr budget is !
do you wanna spend 100$ twice and more ? or 200$ once ?

go to thrift stores - if you don't have the 500-1000$ budget ! for x's sake !



try to find one in good conditions ... and once you clean it, it's ok.
moreover they have this old patine, most of us are craving to get ...

ITA....I have five of them, and two of them are vintage. My fav one is a vintage black biker one which I made more fierce by putting studds on the collar

I've been drooling over that Rick Owens jacket for some time now. If I had the money, I'd buy it in a second. It's exactly what I've been searching for. However, the $2600 price tag is a *bit* steep for someone on a student budget
