I have at least four and wear them to go out as well as when I am on my motorbike. The only one I don't wear on the bike is my bright pink Harley Davidson one that Mr Feline bought me as a gift. Although I like to wear them with casual clothes, jeans etc., I really love the look of them over a very feminine lace dress or something like that. I like the contrast of the two different styles worn together.

Don't overlook motorcycle shops for some great leather jackets. I bought one years ago at a Harley Davidson shop. It didn't have all the logo BS all over it, and people were always trying to buy it off me whenever I wore it out.

It ended up with my best friend who enjoyed wearing it our to leather bars, etc, but it soon became HIS closet staple.
I am now looking for a new one and will seek out a classic one. Love the look of a motorcycle jacket over a soft, feminine dress. The juxtaposition of styles makes the whole look better.

I LOVE biker jackets. I have around 6 and I've seen another one I want to buy. My friends joke that when I have kids they'll come out in biker jackets.

Some people thought they were tacky but I really liked the Burberry s/s 11 biker jackets.

One of my all time faves ...

dont biker jackets and combat boots go hand in hand? at least in my world. the thing is i think you have to wear them and not let them get so heavy handed they wear you. even though one of mine is a bess jacket with major brass studs when i saw it i knew it was part of my persona...so be it.

dont get me started on junya's version...goner.

This is one of my favourite uses of this trend - Suede ca 1994:

I'm rather partial to the absolute tackiness of the Burberry snakeskin motorbike jacket (lllipgloss.com):

Although not really my style, the Junya Watanabe ones are superdreamy.

iluvjeisa, you rock for posting that Suede video... so incredibly hot!!!

I haven't found my ideal motorcycle leather jacket yet. Actually, those I do like are completely out of my budget, so for now I can only admire this one by Acne from my computer screen. :(

^Acne have done such wonderful biker jackets this season, the sheepskin ones they've done are absolutely amazing and gorgeous!

Mulberry have done some absolutely dreamy biker jackets this season - shame about the price (Burgundy is £795 and the Sheepskin is £2,000)

True leather motorcycle jackets are not in my budget right now, but I did get a very inexpensive version last year (Spring 2010) when Lauren Conrad for Kohl's produced one. It's faux-leather, and the cut is pretty nice! Now that it's slowly been cooling down here, I've been itching to wear mine again this fall.

^I love that.

I'm also loving Lot78's jackets, starting alittle cheaper than an All Saint's leather which isn't bad.

Same here! It's something I went looking for through thrift stores for years, but the ones I liked really didn't fit me...So I'm letting this on my "when I make more money" wishlist. And I hope I will actually make more money soon enough:lol:

I've never really wanted a biker jacket. I've always felt that it was a bit too rock'n'roll for me, but I've been thinking about getting one for a while now, thinking I could pair it with more feminine pieces.
I guess it's practical aspect has lured me in. :p

H&M has one that I want to have a closer look at, I like that it's quite simple and has a more relaxed fit.
That it's in my price range doesn't hurt either ^_^
