If you saw the seafoam balenciaga in medium.. in nicely used condition..
slightly dirty around the corners.. but otherwise no defects..
how much would you pay for it to get it?

i voted 600-800 i wouldnt pay retail for a bag that had signs of use/wear, but i would still definately be interested cuz erm after all...its seafoam B)

=) is this about that ebay seafoam city that went for $1100? that angel told us about..

that's crazy.. i dunno.

i paid $650 for my used seafoam twiggy (put it in the thread some time back), which had the corners piping a bit worn, etc... I don't regret it all, i love it to bits, love the colour, love the amaaaazing softness of the aged leather.. and the wornness means that i don't have to worry about those signs of wear appearing as i use it, which would drive me nuts.

oh, my vote depends on whether
- the signs of wear were ones that would eventually (and soonish) show up with even careful use - eg darkening, slight wearing off of the topmost leather layer.. (in which case, i would vote up to $150 above retail price)
- the signs of wear are those which occurred with rough careless use - eg scraping and chafing of the topmost layer of leather.. in which case i would pay about 2/3 of the retail price, about $650
