I think all the long gowns from Olivier's Nina Ricci debut were rather ugly, especially when seen up close and in real life. Such amateurish construction and execution makes me think that he must have been in a big rush when he was putting together that show. Unfortunately, noone has seen the gowns from Rochas pre-S/S 2007, the last collection he has created for the house. He introduced a new, feather-light, balloon-ish skirt volume and it was amazing to see how they would hold structure, while being entirely weightless.
