As much as I hate to say it, because I love the designer & his couture, but this one takes the cake. Yes, the marriage between two totally opposite ideas (in this case, camouflage & couture) is quintessential Gaultier, but at the end of the day, an ugly dress is just an ugly dress..and, unfortunately, Lily Cole, as beautiful as she is, doesn't help much.
I dont get it either... every season LV cums up wiv more and more hideous outfits and more and more people are buyin them... -.-
and i utterly hate every single fashion shows from New York and London fashion weeks ever.... except Gareth Pugh first collections...
New York is always so uninspiring and boring.... cheeziness overload... theres no sophistication and haute craftsmanship.... i know they brought a lot into fashion... more casualty and modern sporty style but i personally miss that European opulence and luxury that screams from outfits.. In New York, they make fashion... in Europe, they make art....
and I really dont get why ive been hearing for last 8 years from so many people that London fashion week is ahead of Paris one... its always trying to be so avant-garde but it fails to impress.... And when they finally have someone good, they move to Paris like Galliano or Pugh... They lucky they still got Kate Moss' Topshop....
I always skip those two as if they never existed.... just my imo....
I seriously doubt people buy these clothes.I'm certain the majority of LV's profit comes from bags and not even the runway ones, the plain mongrammed ones. The runway shows are just publicity stunts to draw more attention to the house.
