I can understand the trickle down theory (as in Zara) however just because 2 designers do one shouldered gowns or Kabuki robes with an obi sash doesn't constitute "copying". Most of these examples are design elements reintroduced by someone else.

Most things are often in the air and if you don't do it, someone else will sooner than later.

And the Burberry-Kane comparison is really close too, but I definitly think Burberry did it better, it looks less like a doily.

The similarities and obvious inspiration here is really quite interesting. I actually like Etro's take on the Balenciaga pieces, personally.
