Tommy Hilfiger Fall 2016 tried the Gucci SS16 trompe l'oeil sequined dress route

He copied the T-strap shoes as well. And threw in a tiara à la Saint Laurent just to complete that mess of a look. I know it's not always the case (and sometimes it's the other way around) but I just don't understand why so many celebrated American designers just blatantly do watered down versions of their European counterparts...
