I get a very similar vibe from both of 'em - the material of the sleeves, the see-trough at the bottom...it's just very similra.

i see nothing wrong with designer pieces in a movie
i think its exciing to see a brand that you know in a movie

i couldn't find a good shot-- it's actually trousers and probably a print, instead of lace. this movie was a remake and the original was much older than marni s/s 09 ...but i can't remember if these trousers were in there too.
in any case i thought theme wise, it is even the same.. like her aquamarine veil at the top of her turban, it's all sheer.. and the polka dot with the transparency was also a theme at Marni.
