Irina acknowledges that her big break was that Vogue Paris issue that Kate chose her for...after that Kate just always got credit cause Irina gave it to her, so obviously that one editorial went a long way and Kate introduced her to the right people...and then of course she used her for Topshop...

Whether she had so much influence...who knows...but she helped speed things up...

cause Irina has been modeling since 2003 i think .. she has a thread here that dates back to.. 2004?... I guess Kate did help a lot on her career but Irina was already somewhat known amongst 'underground' circles.. she walked and supported belgian designers way before Kate came around with Vogue and Chanel and turned her officially into a hipster.
