Omg, perfection!! In a perfect world we should've had this shoot instead of Lupita by Sorrenti for Porter. I'd like to have seen a cover of Grace in that portrait shot. The red dress looks like Christmas crinkle paper against her skin.
Grace is such a versatile yet underrated model. She can do glamour, edgy, luxe all in one shoot, as evidenced here.
With the rapid switchover to the new diverse regime in fashion, we've seen (and continue to see) a lot of photographers and stylists merely replacing white girls with black ones. There does not seem to be a genuine understanding or appreciation for darker tones. And that's why most of it isn't to my taste. This photographer and stylist however did a splendid job. I can't imagine the potency of colours wouldve been as impacting with a white model as it is here. Bravo.
