I wouldn‘t mind it coming back, to be honest! I don‘t see why her knits shouldn‘t be attractive again to a customer of today.

Yes it’s a fantastic brand and the foundation is solid. Something with that spirit today is missing. It’s a brand that was quite present in my household so I have always had good feelings about it.

I believe G-III revived Rykiel a couple of years ago, but it's been relatively quiet.

Yes they are basically doing archives but it has no spirit, no identity. It’s product-oriented in the most marketing-led kind of way.
Even if the archives have an enduring appeal, I would rather go for a CJR knitwear if I had to buy a multicolor striped sweater.

Bravo had that real girlfriends of Paris and one of them worked at Sonia Rykiel haha - I didn’t realize it was still a brand at that point. ( if a brand stops showing at fashion week I forget they’re a thing haha )

I think Law is repulsive, but this would be a hysterical revival of a fashion house and I am here for it! Imagine how tacky it will be. Showing in NYC hopefully with Zendaya opening and LiLo closing the show. Heck, if he can put on a fun runway show too 🤔 lol

I literally discovered Alaia by learning that he died. Also, I deleted Instagram from my phone, so the 100s of digitally native indie brands I used to follow are out of sight, out of mind.
