hebden, those are very cool shoes. i've been so into wearing oxfords. i saw a women the other day in denim overalls with saddle shoes (well, they are the same shape as oxfords...anyway) and she looked so happy go lucky, i loved it.

softgrey, if your excitement is any indication i have no doubt it is a gem. hopefully you will show us soon.

i bought this dress BNWT for about 65$ shipped from overseas. its kate moss for topshop and the original price was 200 pounds. its a size too big for me. i got it because i think i can have it tailored for about 30$ (i will need to hem the dress slightly as i'm petite). the bottom of the dress has godets on it. (its a sewing technique that makes it look fuller) hopefully the hemming wont throw the symetry of the dress off.

i dont own any maxi dresses. so this is definitely a first for me.

an isabel marant dress from past season, i think it might be spring 2003, but would love it if someone knew for sure.
also, the most incredible ballet flats in a dusty rose with an ankle strap that has a thick silver chain wrapped around it. they blew my mind when i saw them...truth, i confess i am a philophile. pic to come but they have to arrive first, prepare to be blown away...
