Yes, it's rather heavy knit imo, most cashmere items are very fine knit I find. It's from Joseph.

that fine knit does not work for me...

Gosh I'm so guilty, I can be such an impulsive buyer that I am so terrible at saving up money because as soon as I see something I really like or something nice with a massive reduction there goes my $$$...

i have been obsessed with a blk/wht tweedy coat for a long time now...
last year dries had an amazing one...very classic trench style...
it was about $1K---too much for a basic wool coat- imho...

though i did spend that on a yohji wool cape without blinking an eye...

i don't know...it was maybe just a bit too classic...and a trench is not my best shape...
well - my friend wound up getting it in plain black but i always though that was a mistake and the tweed has haunted me since then...

anyway- flash forward to now and i stopped in to check out a friend's designs at a nearby shop and ---
yay- she made one and it seems like it was made just for me!
it's so great and i am so happy!
it's italian wool and alpaca and it makes me happy...

she also did a blouse in that japanese silky polyester that lanvin uses so i got that as well...
it's another thing i have been wanting for a long time as it replaces a black pirate/gypsy/poet blouse i have worn for years which has faded over time...
this is polyester, so it will never fade...

got a giant oversized black cotton blouse/smock...
something i have always wanted...

very pleased with this find...
and it is one of a kind...which makes me love it all the more!
