I'm so in love with your red dress, Zarina!
I went to the launch of the "Versace for H&M" collection today. Although it was a complete madness, fortunately I managed to get the three pieces I wanted :

Photos from the official site of H&M & fashionologie.

wow, i LOVE the ruffle on the rykiel jacket. its going to look so flattering on the waist. right now, i have my eye on an all saints wool jacket that is styled similarly.

yeah- loving the peplum...!
:p

so-
i bought something [even though i am on a spending freeze]...:ninja:
i broke down and bought a +J short blue peacoat...
it's very narrow in the shoulder area and flairs slightly at the hip...
but it's very straight in the back...
VERY flattering design for me!
it has a huge collar which is very stylish and cool, imo...

plus- i have been thinking that i needed a short blue jacket for about a year now...
it was a happy coincidence that Jil Sander should do just the right one for her latest and last collection...

yay!
i'm a happy camper!

:p

Thanks.... Unfortunately it appeared not to work irl. The batwing sleeves are not flattering in such a heavy material and in general it was running very large to size. So I have to return it :(

oh that's too bad Zarina! That looks like a style that would have been flattering on you and would fit in well with your wardrobe...

too bad it wasn't meant to be IRL

i finally bought these Timberland boots after trying them on almost 6 times... I'm really hoping this can be a winter of warm feet.

Hmmm, that's really tough because they're sort-of polar opposites - the Givenchy is perfectly structured, and the Khirma is sort-of boho slouchy. Since they are both so gorgeous, I would suggest picking the one that you have less of in your wardrobe - structured or slouchy. However, just as a final thought, the Khirma does seem much more timeless...and I do love a gorgeous shagreen ;)

thanks for the advice, rochasfile. i'm rather thinking of bringing the khirma back to get this one in natural python: been looking for a natural python bag for some time:
