Just bought my only Ralph Lauren purchases: a pair of Ralph Lauren Double RL indigo bootcut jeans and a Ralph Lauren Purple Label black linen long-sleeve shirt.

- THE coolest dress in the world; it's an 80's number, ends a good five inches above the knee with a huge bow in the front and a ruffle-type thing (Aren't I desprictive? :P). The fabric is pink with white polka dots, and there's some wire underneath.

i must see a photo of this dress
it sounds so cheesy 1980s valentino!!

I bought some crazy tweed/wool things to cut up.

I also picked up another black cashmere sweater with a collar, some rhinestone cluster pins, a crazy pair of orange (like as in.. an orange, the fruit) earrings, and some huge sparkly rhinestone clip on earrings.

Today I ordered these Fendi crocodile platforms with the mirrored wedge heel

Wow! Never seen anything quite like that. If you don't mind me asking, how much did they set you back?

I bought some crazy woollen tweed stuff to wear. I got this stuff at a junk shop about 15 blocks from where I live. I also got four awesome old 1960s dresses, which I will post later. They are very mod, but midi-length. I think they were probably bought and worn by somebody over 30 yet slim. They have that conservative Sears Junior Bazaar look about them. They pay homage to the trends of the day, but they won't get you sent home from work or school to change because you're showing too much leg.

I can't wait to see Slinky's dress. I almost bought a black nylon net can-can skirt with yellow ribbon edging on all the ruffles. Made me think of Slinky and of Sasha!

overjoyed at my recent acquisition from an antique store today, a vintage black mesh veil/hairpiece, with velvet covered wire shaped in an indescribable design...but very philip treacy and uber-chic. I will I had a picture. it will look stunning with a slim little black dress and coloured elbow gloves. :woot:

bought some really old vintage purses at a garage sale :P just about falling apart, but so beautiful in their shape, design and texture.

-fur stole lined in pink silk - GORGEOUS
funky orange, green, red and yellow woven leather bangle bracelets
silver dance shoes by Van Cleef
a white and blue nautical striped silk scarf with gold rope design
gold lion head belt
charm bracelet with handblown glass beads

(I also put up some pics of the stuff I bought yesterday, the yellow and aqua bead necklaces, the pink rhinestone brooch, super sparkly clip on earrings and orange plastic 60's earrings; AND the TWEED and PLAID wool... just noticed that the plaid matches up on the skirt... AYLI, thought you'd understand my pleasure at that!)

Thank you! The dress over on the left is a 1940s Vogue pattern I own. It's pretty cute and I plan to make it up someday.
