The 'Shoe ID' Thread

not sure if this is the right thread to post, cause i don't have a picture, but a description of the shoes i am curious about.
i saw a girl wearing them in college last week and they looked gorgeous:

tanned leather platform kinda strappy-sandals
high-heeled with platform and quite big (as in "thick") heel.
they had golden hardware and what i liked most was that the front-half of the heel (top to bottom facing the sole of the shoe was golden too)
i know i've seen them somewhere around here or style.com but i'm not sure whether they are gucci or maybe versace or maybe just someone else, and probably form this summer season or a couple of seasons back.

if you could experts ID them, that would be SOOO great, cause i am dying to know who are they from and i havent seen the girl again yet wearing them...


(as i said, i'd swear i've seen those shoes before somewhere... the execution of the shoe looked impecable, so based on that and the goregous balenciaga she was carrying i just asumed they were designer shoes... maybe they were not?)

marcjacobslove- those look really pradaesque. The shape of the heel and the elastic stripes- if they aren't prada it is a bit of a knockoff of last year's shoe (or was it the year before?)
