It took my quite a while to get used to the new album. The first two favorites were: You Only Live Once and Razorblade however after actually giving it some time to settle in, I just cannot stop listening to the last three tracks: Ize of the World, Evening Sun and Red Light.

Julian has the sexiest voice ever. EVER!

the third album did take a couple of listens until i started to like it, but now i love it. especially Red Light, his voice sounds so good in that one :heart:
 
Me too, I was going to go to the concert but I had a change of plans in the last minute. I've been sending email to The Strokes manager since forever, and they sended me an email back to tell me that they were coming to Montreal, but I decided I won't go.So La Bordelique and Mary-Anne please take good pix of Julian for me!!

Those are the songs I liked at first then later too! :) Right now Red Light is one I listen to often.
 
Has anyone heard the B-side to Juciebox? Hawaii? It really should be on FIOE - it's a great song.

Some with I'll Try Anything Once - I'd love more Strokes songs like that.

I'm addicted to Hawaii. The Juicebox single is such a great 'driving' cd.

Highlights:
Nick Valensi looking like Jesus.
They played Take A Walk On The Wild Side, New York City Cops, and Hawaii.
Julian decided to go near the right side of the crowd on the gear cases and speakers, right in front of me, and actually blew me a kiss. o__o
