Did one of the singers from this band do a duet of sorts with Marketa Irglov for the "I'm Not There" soundtrack?

Four songs recorded in new collaboration
Babyshambles’ Drew McConnell, The Strokes’ and Fionn Regan have recorded four new songs together and are in discussions with record labels about releasing them.

McConnell explained that the musical project, named Helsinki, was the result of him simply “having fun” with music outside of his Babyshambles commitments.
He told BBC News: “We all needed it, Albert had been on tour with his solo thing and he was a little tired. It was good for everyone to get in the studio for a few days and have some beers and make some good music.
“Not worrying if a label was going to be happy with it or whether an A&R man was gonna check if the chorus came in in the first 40 seconds [was good]. When I play with Helsinki, on my own, it's more for fun [than work].
“Not that Babyshambles isn't fun, but I take it more seriously." </H1>

The Strokes, who strolled into the This Is Burlesque show at cheeky and cheerful Corio eatery on a Friday eve. The Strokers slid into a table by the stage (to get a better look at the ladies, fer sure) and interacted with the emcee throughout the campy show. The five indie fellas sported jeans and rocker tees, natch, foregoing anything harder than vodka 'n' Red Bulls. Funny, you'd think their energy drink du jour would be Rock Star, huh? The band enjoyed the saucy entertainment—who wouldn’t?—and stayed well after the show was over to chill with the cast. Bet none of the performers in this sexy dinner theater were a match for drummer Fabrizio Moretti’s ex Drew Barrymore, but a guy’s gotta eat, no?

So I was checking out the site and I came across this on Nikolai's page.

Hey Everyone!
Here's another update for you guys.
First, I'd like to say that I'm still looking very forward to a fourth album release. We just need to work out a few technical kinks...
Second, here are some other things I've been doing while waiting for all of us to get back into the studio. It's been a long break, but much needed for us to remain together as a productive band. "a kind of dream" will see a release some time in the next couple of months. For all infon on that, go to the myspace page previously mentioned. (www.myspace.com/akindofdream) It is $9.99 + s/h and as it was filmed in New York, I will be giving my share of the proceeds to the Bowery Mission. In order to not go completely insane during this extended break, I've been working on some music, including some covers, which I will be posting soon. For more info, stay tuned here for the link. Also, we're taking part in a shoe auction for children affected by land mines in war-afflicted countries. It's called "Give Land Mines the Boot." Here is a link: www.mag.org.uk. The signed boots I'm putting up for auction are the only pair I wore from '99-'03 and in the film "a kind of dream."
