i actually love the new album, juicebox freaked me out a little bit, untill i saw the full video and how dirty and kinky it is. I realised its actually completely still the strokes. LOVE LOVE LOVE them, julian still breaks my heart with his lyrics... heart in a cage, ize of the world, vision of division.. actually just all the songs on the album.

I got tickets to see them on March 3rd at Hammerstein Ballroom in NYC!!!!! I can't wait, it'll be amazing!!!!!!!!!!! I don't even care that the venue doesn't allow cameras....I'm too excited! (sorry for excessive use of exclamation marks... )

I. Hate. You. Kidding of course. But me and my friend were gonna try to get tickets to that show, and it SOLD OUT! Which means I'm gonna have to buy my ticket from a scalper the day of. It's gonna cost, but it'll be totally worth it. GAHH!

I love the new album. I think it really represents their talent and knowledge of music. It is defitnitley is a musicians, musicians album (does that make sense?) anyways, they have made me a fan!

hey, you lot........i kno im from england but there are loads of websites that still have tickets to the hammerstein show in NYC!!!! theyre a rip off but who cares to be honest???? just go on a search thing, type in strokes tickets.... the cheapest i saw was $85 !!!!! how much did u pay for yours pattismith???? wot was the face value????

Thanks for the info hetti...but there is NO WAY I would pay $85 to see the Strokes! For instance, the last time I saw them I bought the tickets off ebay like $20 for two. okay, so it was in Detroit, which is a less "exclusive" area but I can't pay that kinda $$ for them! I'll go if someone will sell to me for FV.

Omg that reminds me. I had a dream last night I saw The Strokes in person and they played "Razorblade" but the song had been totally changed cos Julian was embarrased about everyone comparing the chorus to Barry Manilow's "Mandy" and I was devastated. How ridiculous!

Oooh, they are incredible live. Kings Of Leon, Foo Fighters, Arctic Monkeys have all paled into Insignificance.
Julian has the best on stage presence just by being himself, he doesn't have to try too hard, like alot of other frontmen.
All the songs are just built for a live performance; they work perfectly.
Oh, and Nikolai came on for the encore in a builders hard hat, and Fab gestured towards him and did the little YMCA dance. Awww!
