How is everyone's Metallic Melie Bianco bag holding up?

Hi everyone, I was just wondering how every one's Melie Bianco hobo bag is holding up after several months of use... I love mine, especially since it's waterproof, but I have to touch it up with nail polish because the paint is chipping off! Is anyone else having this problem? For me, the paint is peeling off of the part of the bag that narrows in and becomes the handle. Is this a normal thing that everyone is experiencing? I love the bag, and am thinking I should probably get it in black (even though I don't like to carry black bags around, I like color).
