i think the bag could be by Toast. the label is by an australian designer, who i think is based in the US. the ones i have seen look a little different to the one you like in the picture though, but i actually prefer the versions i have seen. they are metallic with the wooden circle that has some whimsical design such as birds or deer, but the ones i have seen have a handle of rope. i will try to find you a picture. i loved them but they were a bit expensive...

yea, i know. When i get my hands on it for my friend, i don't know how much wear she's going to get out of it; i think it will be living in my wardrobe!

And to i_killed_couture and flick, i emailed Toast accessories about a year ago to look at having one of the bags made up. They have a kind of build your own thing on the website. I haven't heard back from them, though i sent about five follow up emails from July to November.
I don't know how old that pic is, but there was a bit of a mini following for them around this time last year, i know they were in Vogue, Harper's Bazaar and W, and a couple of celebs, like Melissa George, had them. Good luck, and let me know if you get one made!
