you're right they are childhood friends. brody is kim kardashian's step-brother. nicole and kim were friends since elementary school. i guess, that's how lauren conrad (who dated brody) is friends with nicole. why do i know this stuff? i'm a loser.

She knows her real parents well. Her real dad was in a band with lionel when they were young but he coudln't raise her so lionel offered to adopt her.

Big news..Huge..Nicole Richie and Joel Madden have apparently set a wedding date! And it’s only two weeks away! TMZ is reporting that the parents-to-be will be marred in Laguna Beach on October 13th. A small O.C. based wedding planning company, The Wedding Fairy, has been hired to coordinate the festivities.

shes lionel richies biological child. which would make her nicoles step sister. nicole has said in interviews that lionels wife (the little girls mother) didnt want nicole around her because she was a bad influence
