I just got my asymmetric at toni&guy in toronto. They used a molding wax to style my hair and forgot the name of it.

It was incased in a Chrome sphere. So one of you might know what it is?

Is it Bed Head?

no thats not it... the case was unique, it was a chrome sphere.

I think its pricey as well. $30+ canadian

Hmm.....you should call the salon and ask then.

I know that Toni & Guy salons use alot of Tigi products..........actually (I'm not sure though), but I think that is actually THEIR brand????

I use Aveda's Control Paste, but would be interested in finding out what this one is you are looking for. If it's good, I might want to try it.

I think it might be called Catfight... it's in a bluish chrome sphere. I used to use it when my hair was real short.

my sister went to toniandguy... it was called S-factor molding wax. $28.89 cdn

i love the hold, not really wax, more like plastic :)

I changed the name of this thread so we can expand on brand discussion :flower:

^:yuk: it made my hair smell funny, almost like a plastic smell. It was very strange. I'm not a fan.

Don't know about the honey and oatmeal, but the Self Absorbed shampoo and conditioner is basically my new boyfriend. I love it that much.

I've just ordered some dumb blonde shampoo and conditioner. Has anyone used it. I have dark brown nearly black hair but was seduced by the packaging and apparantly it doesn't matter.

tigi hair products are my favourite. they smell like candy

I'm pretty sure it's the S-Factor molding wax, as TIGI is trying to push their new S-factor line (expensive). I work for a TIGI salon, but personally I think their products suck.

I use Tigi products a lot, i find the curls rock range great! what are the products in the new s-factor range like? are they any good? they seem to be gettin rave reviews!

Their shampoo and conditioner are pretty good. The S-Factor line is going for the whole 'smooth and silky' look. It's really expensive though and imho not worth the money.

Has anyone tried the Foxy Curls shampoo and conditioner or the Catwalk Curlesque shampoo and conditioner? Were they any good?

I'm using the Foxy curls shampoo. I think it's really nice and the fact it contains no sulfates is a plus! It's worth using just for the smell alone. It smells strongly like red starbursts! :woot:

^ Thank you. :flower: I really want to switch to a sulfate free shampoo and I liked Tigi Curls Rock shampoo so it's good to hear the other ranges for curly hair are good too.
