from watching the movie and knowing what his relationship was all about with his mother I will go with the latter, he did it to spite her. fab movie, can't stop recommending it to people.

tilda is nominated for a SAG! i still haven't been able to see the film yet....it's not playing anywhere in my area.....as usual.

but from what i've seen of the trailer and the reviews of tilda's performance(including everybody here,of course ).....appropriate. it's going to be tough with viola davis and meryl but honestly i wouldn't be surprised given the magnitude of the film,she may win it.

Don't care much about award ceremonies myself, but with Tilda there things will at least be interesting on the red carpet. There's always the anticipation of what she will wear to keep me tuned in, which is something I can say about very few actresses. So glad to see her nominated across the board.
