Tim Burton

I don't know what happened to Tim though with Planet of the Apes. That was so..un-Tim-Burton-y. Everything else I just love love..Charlie & the Chocolate Factory completely lived up to my expectations if not more. I adored it!

From all who are the favorite film of Tim Burtom ??

Yeah, man, that movie is great. (Scissorhands) But, I was just wondering...this thread, and the Corpse Bride thread have been abandoned lately, and, well, what is going on? Did you guys forget about the Corpse Bride or what?

I wrote my opinions over the film on the Corpse Bride thread, but, I will say it again. It was no let down form Mr. Burton. Superb, and the music was, of course, excellent. What think you all?

Loved Corpse Bride...
I also enjoyed his book "The Melancholy Death of Oyster Boy & Other Stories";
I have all of the PVC figures from it...
He also had such a unique vision when he made the first two Batman movies with Michael Keaton. The series went down hill for the next two (directed by Joel Schumacher)...

My personal favourite is Sleepy Hollow, but I really can't say any of them is not wonderful and very dear to me. I just adore them all, pure love. Except The Planet of the Apes, of course. I couldn't watch it through.

ps. Castorpollux, your avatar is ace!

Good choice. It's very simplistic, but strangely endearing to me...
I actually discovered the figures at Kidrobot before I read the book.

tim burton is magician, his movies are different but good

It took me maybe 15 minutes to read through the whole book...all 23 stories or whatever. But it was really good. I love morbid humor like that.

I saw Big Fish again, and I still cry at the end..
I always try not to..
He is so talented and he has his own genuine style to do movies and build scenes.. the design is everything to him..

Beetlejuice..Beetlejuice..Beetlejuice!

Except for "the planet of the apes", I love everything he's made. His universe is so unique and thrilling
