yes I like Toga. somehow I feel like something like blood pervades her clothes.
reminds me a bit of Cindy Sherman.

no, softgrey
I just posted as many pictures as possible.

you really love fashion... don't you runner?...
i can see the cindy sherman reference...though i don't always like that...i do see it...

i love the toga and julius stuff!

there is something "old" about them i don't know how to express it.

what's that cdiem shirt made out of? $1155 for a shirt? eeeeeeee.

what's viridi-anne's prices like? a bit more "afforadable" perhaps?

Its made of a linen, all the fabric seems to be produced in small batches specifically for thier product.

Note the dying as well.

My God. That CD stuff is frighteningly priced. I'm a bit shocked.

i like the half pocket detail on the back of the virdi-anne jeans. much better than a big logo across the pack of a pocket.

I agree. I don't know what can command such high prices. Surely artisanship, time to prepare fabrics, and small production demands premium, but how much of a premium?!

i couldn't help but notice under news on the virdi-anne site that it says something about after the month of feb. that things will be 50-80% off? (i only recognize the chinese characters)... can anyone who can read japanese enlighten me? i'd love to pick up some of this stuff if in my range...

Absolutely. I just don't see how the prices can get so high. The shoes are about £1000! I suppose I buy expensive clothes and don't therefore usually get "moralistic" about it but to some extent I feel uneasy about such high value garments. I know they're not doing anyone any harm, but is there really any need for it. Do guys who want a kind of easy going, slightly dishevelled look really need to spend that amount to get it? And I know the whole point of the line is the batterd up thing and the lived in appearance, but when they are so highly priced doesn't the irony of that just get a little too much?! I'm not at all attacking anyone who buys the stuff (I know runner does and I would never critisize him), but its just so much money.... The clothes are nice though, undeniably.
