Limi Feu S/S 11 Paris

Limi has such a keen eye for technique, but it's like she held back with these pieces. She should have kept going.

while some of this stuff titillates me, the most exciting thing to land on the runway found itself on the designer.
i know...
she looks amazing doesn't she?!?...

i want to look just like that!...
:P

inaya...that's one of my fave looks too...
though it does scream 'YOHJI' to me...
:P

i like this vest/top in particular...
i would style it with a skinny pant and high blk lthr boots...
:mohawk:

I guess I'm a lover of slow fashion because, for me, this collection is enough food for thought and there is plenty to covet here. I like the move towards larger volume. The balance and drape in some of those looks is incredibly well-executed considering how easily a giant black dress with pinch pleats and no waist could look like a shapeless monstrosity.

There's a great video on Telegraph's site on the collection. Hilary Alexander interviews Limi's beautiful, lavender-haired mom who saw her daughter's show for the first time, Yohji and Limi.

Thanks Spinster, LOVE the video! :woot:
What a lovely family, so down-to-earth and creative.
I'd feel so at home with them...made me homesick, haha!
Limi's mother is beautiful.

Very nice balance of volume and silhouette on all the pieces, I think.
But my favorite has to be the white maxi dress w/split sleeves...so Gustave Moreau. Beautiful music too.
