The soundtrack is awesome: Like the synchronized metallic heartbeat of the cast of immaculately curated and performed androids heating up. And still steely, icy, cold, intimating, and eternally noir.: Surreal and still very real. And not a lick of desperate gimmick and desperately seeking attention. Just designs cut to the most demanding standards of perfecting an already perfect body. Nothing is excessive, and everything is timeless.

This is the Tom Ford I adore. And very glad it’s Haider’s as well.

For me the soundtrack was genius! It was so anxious, like a Eyes Wide Shiut meets American Psycho scene. I was ready for a model to take a knife from her crocodile bag and butcher a viewer then have sex in the middle of the runway! It was so perverse, so emotional!

Easily my favorite of the season so far. His take on sexy is so much interesting than the conventional glossy bling bling sexy. It’s so seductive, silky, tantalizing. They look like vampires, in the best possible way.

The satin suits are so Haider but with Tom Ford's sensuality...I don't know how he did it. What a genius.

Yes and it’s hard to do a satin suit that still looks very structured in a way. It’s weird.
But I was mostly impressed by his use of lace. I don’t think it’s something I have seen from him before.

He took the gimmick of the Gucci SS1998 collection and did something fabulous like the dress on Alex Consani.
The way he cut the skirt on Anok was also fantastic with those seams around a bit a la Alaia.

I think beyond what we call « aesthetic », Haider gets the Tom Ford man and woman. Tom Ford sexuality was always a bit louche but also very restrained.

But step by step, he is introducing some things: I saw pencil skirts, a bit of sequins…


And Daphne Guinness attended the show in the showstopper snakeskin coat from the FW collection!

Sleek, sharp and sexy, and a right amount of humor/vulgarity. This is what everything that I ever asked for from Tom Ford and Haider just does it so effortlessly. Bravo.

The menswear is so strong that they could have their own show. I low-key want those short shorts.
And the tailoring is the star here, the colored suits on the trio black models are stunning, so fabulous.

I have nothing to say but I'm obsessed.

Almost impossible level of improvement from the first show on every front show production, design, etc.

He was really able to engage with the staple Tom Ford daywear, add more of himself into it, refresh some of Tom's archival icons, and bring in some new fully realized ideas for both of them. Not to mention also referencing his Belgian roots with the Margiela leather meshwork in the beginning.

The lace negligee story is easily the best iteration of it I've seen since Phoebe brought them back into fashion years ago especially when hybridized with leather.

The only things that I'm not too crazy about is the carryover heels from last season, the pale neon color palette and colorblocking from Jacob K, and the kind of monotonously draped evening gowns (but he might have found a way out with Loli's gown).

Haider Ackermann? How about hide my wallet from this man.
