Tom Ford S/S 2026 Paris

I see Armani mixed with Rudi Gernreich and those Céline dresses by Philo...and all with his usual colour palette and stylism.

But where is Tom Ford here?? I can´t find him. His Gucci s/s 1998 was dark, sexy; but energetic and dynamic. Here I feel some kind of sexual suffocation or erotic asphyxiation that I don´t like.

Also too much generic clothes as fillers here.

This version with a different soundtrack is 10000X better. The clothes, casting, everything is perfect , dare I say he out did Tom Ford even. The models have this cold confidence but with sexual tension and angst. Easily the best show of the season, Haider is the King of Paris with this. Very cinematic clothes.

I could not watch the show the sountrack was HORRIFIC , it was giving me palpitations . Whoever thought this was a great idea , I want to shove my foot up their a$$
That being said it was easily one of the best shows of the season. Beautiful pantsuits, but for the love of God pick a soundtrack which does not induce seizures
I couldn't watch either. That sound track was weird AF and making me feel nauseous.
Image actually being there and having to listen to that in person?

did not expect to hear an ancient (well, late 90s) pan sonic track, let alone *that one* backing a tom ford runway presentation.

in case a 4 minute loop isn't enough :ninjas:

i loved everything about btw, can't remember the last time something was so utterly despairing-sinister-horny in this way :aliens:

Vogue's review on the show:
Haider Ackermann has found his place. There’s only one Tom Ford, but Ackermann shares the brand founder’s flair for the cinematic, and he directs his models like they were actors on a movie set. “I told them I want them to seduce. They’re aware they’re seducing, but they act as if they’re not aware of it—it’s all this kind of game,” he said backstage in the quiet before the show began.

They certainly didn’t move like models on other runways, with their unsmiling, bored faces and their wiggleless hips. Ackermann’s girls and boys slithered and slinked their way up a glossy dark blue set, trying for eye contact with the audience, or casting side glances at their fellow catwalkers. Erin O’Connor and Scott Barnhill, in hers and his navy silk suits and matching slicked-back haircuts, put their arms around each other, like old friends or new lovers. David Bowie was singing about lovers in a searing acapella version of “Heroes” on the soundtrack.

“It’s all about a midnight swim,” Ackermann shared. “In the summer I like to take a dive in the ocean at midnight. I think that’s the most dangerous and sexy thing in the world.” Those are two qualities Ford would co-sign. He’d likely also appreciate the patent leather pieces laser-cut with tiny slits that looked like they’d taken a dip in the ocean too. Though there were no straight-up bathing suits, there was more bare skin here than at Ackermann’s debut last season. On the girls, little triangle bra tops stood in for shirts; and on the boys, jockstraps were clearly visible beneath teeny sheer shorts.

With their wire construction, evening numbers defied gravity, the single strap of an asymmetric long dress arching over the shoulders to cup the opposite breast. Others challenged decorum à la Rudi Gernreich’s monokini and an Ackermann collection of old (see spring 2011) featuring topless dresses suspended via the barest of strings from somewhere south of the navel. Ackermann has quickly mastered Ford’s signature panache, but here he let his own distinctive style shine through.

And then there was the color—lime green, baby pink, and mint satin pantsuits; draped dresses and skirts in orange and pool blue; all of it standing out all the more in the so deep-blue-it’s-almost-black of the show space. For the finale, Ackermann cranked up the smoke machine, a signature move of his own from way back. Consider us seduced.

He was able to break through all the noise of this extremely noisy fashion week, all of these new appointments, these new designers, with their supposedly new ideas. Ackermann commanded that you only listen to him with the wildest of soundtracks I've ever heard on a runway it was jarring wild, it sounded like the last seconds before you have a full orgasm with the hottest man or woman you've ever met in your life.

No sexual orientation the only sexual orientation on the runway was attraction.
The model selection was absolutely one hundred percent sublime.
Clothing for growing ups why would Your wanna be a kid (dior) when you're over thirty.

Things from the past mixed with whatever time period there is no time period, looking sexy has no time. Wonderful job, he came to compete and he came to play.

The best fashion show since Raf's first Dior HC.
Haider found his expression at Tom Ford, something entirely and authentically his. He harnessed that theatricality exhibited in his JPG show, the cold sex and exotic worldview and created something unseen here, something so total and emblematic of fashion.
Nothing to critique, I'm not good enough. Tom chose well. This is one for the books.

I'm getting emotional but this is a prime example of honoring your talents, the models brought so much magic to this show, 2 minutes each but they all played a part in building the tension and the moment. HA knows what he has and orchestrated it to maximum effect unlike the rest. Fashion is ART + commerce. Sometimes on TFS nowadays too (of all places) I feel like talking about models are beneath some and I always find that weird. These girls and boys brought the bacon.

It's Okay baby it was actually in emotional show. I haven't felt that win a long time.

Not reading all of the comments...

This collection was extraordinary! So cool, so chic, so sexy!❤️🔥
Loved it all, and the soundtrack was incredible. Clearly influenced by, Under The Skin.🎬
Great staging, and atmosphere. My only little criticism, are the bags, which were not needed, imo.

I'm fully on board with Team Haider now.:clappinghands:

It’s amazing. I wanna wear this and go out and have fun in these clothes. It’s so dark and a bit sleazy. This show, the set, the models, the clothes is what I have been craving! Finally mature sexy clothes. I love those super sl*tty transparant shorts with the jock/thong.
