I LOVE Lais, but this is terrible, like an ad for a new Telenovela series. It's not sensual. It's "sensual" :brows:. Tacky tacky tacky....

she disappoints me in everything she manages to do. How can someone as pretty as her fail in print... oh wait we had Toni G for a while

Lais is so beautiful but she really looks sleepy. And yes, I agree, she looks like Rhianna on this ad.

She looks miserable.
The lighting is bad and it's too simple for a fragrance shoot.

I see more Nicole Scherzinger/Janet Jackson than Rihanna personally.

she looks good but the angle is not so flattering also am missing that North African vibe which would have been achieved more with a more shadowy photo

I understand where she/they were going for in the expression, like bedroom eyes, but her eyes are a little too closed. It ends up looking like an outtake where she is caught blinking. So instead of have mysterious bedroom eyes, the ad looks really vapid aside from the gorgeous hair. Actually, she kind of looks miserable.

I've seen Lais master the bedroom eyes before so I know she can do it! I don't know why they chose this photo.

Surprisingly I like this. Stunning image.

This alone is much much better then all her VS/print work combined.

Tom Ford presents his new fragrance inspired by the mystery and luxury of the Middle East. Evoking the untamed beauty of the Arabian Peninsula, Sahara Noir is TOM FORD's ode to the enchanting power of one of that land's most treasured ingredients: Frankincense, a precious desert resin. Exclusively in the middle east.
