I'll be so pleased when he's done with Bane. They've been shooting since April and there's still a way to go, but it'll be nice to see him drop the muscle for a while. I'm peeved I'm at TIFF and missed the Tinker Tailor premiere! Today is Tommy's 34th birthday!

That is fantastic news for him and the movie, hopefully Gary Oldman will get some awards love as well. Especially nice since Relativity's "The Warrior" crashed and burned (although it was a decent movie), so funny that KAvanaugh thought he could push "The Warrior" for award season.

This man can go from absolutely beautiful -the first VF pic in #153 - to downright scary. What a talent. I truly believe this man will be remembered in years to come as the greatest actor of this generation.

Something else to get excited about. We got news that The Wettest County in the World, is now slated to be released April 2012. The test scores have apparently been really, really good, even with Shia LeBeouf in it!

^Umm wasnt it supposed to be released in December 2011 for award season consideration (please correct me if I'm wrong) I read on Deadline that Weinstein was looking at it as an award season contender. SO the fact that it got pushed back to April is not a good sign right?

Indeed, but I think the decision was made that it probably wouldn't run well with Academy voters as neither of Hillcoats's other films, The Proposition and The Road didn't really spark their interest. TWC also has a full roster for awards season with The Artist, The Iron Lady and My Week With Marilyn. It's not really a sign it's bad, in fact the test scores have been really, really good. Don't by any means write it off. I think the April 20th release gives them some breathing room, it's a quiet time of year, it's a crowded but not really competitive weekend. scary Movie 5, The House at the End of the Street, The Lucky One and Lockout are the only others with the same release date.

^Thank you so much for the clarification, I must admit I was very excited for this film, I loved "The Road" (huge fan of the directof Hillcoat) and I have to say I am a bit of a Shia fan (I think he has potential to be a good actor), so when I saw a december release date it got me very excited.
